I had three in one auction back around 1999; they came from a family from California who had them for a long time, but weren't collectors. I had no idea how rare they were but even then a couple of them sold in the $2000-3000 range, if I remember. It'll only cost you more today. |

Thanks for the info. I've realized from looking at prices how much I would have to fork out to get one. I've just been amazed that they are so infrequently available. |
