Who will be the hero to allow me to complete my W601 Sporting Life postcard set? Just need the Detroit card. Prefer one that will grade out min SGC 40, non-posted, with no writing. If you have one, but do not want to part with it, I would appreciate a scan for my collection. Thanks for looking. |

Hard to believe but still no W601 Sporting Life Detroit postcard has shown up. I am beginning to think it does not exist. If anyone even has a scan I would appreciate that even though you may not want to sell. Steve |

and Dan and I are working on getting it posted. It shows a very, very young Cobb. It is dated 1906 and we believe (strongly) that this is Cobb's "first" card and therefore is considered his rookie. With that said, I'll never get one now. |

Though it is not for sale I know of at least one other, other being not Dans, so it does exist for sure. |

was the first person I contacted regarding this card. I did get a nice W601 Large 1903 Detroit Composite from him some years ago. |
