Jim -- You might want to correct your listing. Your card is SGC "AUT" (not the number grade in the title). You also say, "one day only" on a 3-day auction. |

I relisted the item from a one day auction. I'm sure most will figure that out. Thanks for your observation thought. Regards, Jim |

I'm just curious - why a 1 day auction if it has a BIN? Why not just let it run 7 days in case someone sees it later in the week? |

TO LET THE PERSON HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY IT KNOW FOR ONE DAY ONLY> THAT I MAY NOT WANT TO SELL AGAIN. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD ON A ONE DAY SALE AT A SHOPPING CENTER. I WANT PEOPLE TO THINK IT'S A BIN FOR ONE DAY OR 3 DAYS WHATEVER. Don't understand what is tough to understand about that. I take it you are not in sales. Lastly, waste somebody else time. I don't have the time to respond to BS posts. I hope this satisfies your curiousity. |

Hey Will. Don't worry you can't afford to buy from me anyways. Good luck with your VG 1968 Deckle Edge set completion. |

I like the 1969 Topps Deckle Edge set as well, although from the same era I prefer 1967 Topps posters and 1970 Kelloggs 3D cards. It's threads like this one that make me want to give up my pursuit of expensive pre-war cards and stick to more modern stuff like Deckle Edge cards in VG-EX. I imagine it would be less stressful for all parties involved. No endless debates about PSA vs. whoever and no wasting anybody's precious time. I collect old cards because they're fun, not because they're expensive. I can't imagine a seller of Deckle Edge cards insulting me for asking a seemingly beneviolent question ... |

I basically agree with you. But, this is the B/S/T section. Anything goes. Buyer beware. All I did was point out this seller's poor marketing skills, and only after he blasted (publicly) a potential buyer looking for info. I didn't realize the seller had such thin skin (and bleeds so easily). I doubt if he collects anything and only uses the forum to sell. By the way, the OPC 1969 Deckles are really nice also - blank backed, black sigs. |

e-mail me and I will gladly send you an insulting reply. Please indicate the level that you prefer (mild rebuke, personal attack, scathing assessment of what a pathetic soul you are for collecting cardboard as an adult, etc.) |

I think you can revise an item if it hs gotten no bids and has more than 12 hours left in the auction. If it has gotten bids or has less than 12 hours to go you cannot revise your item. Hope this helps. |

Well after all that the damn thing didn't even sell... open to offers... Will, you can even throw one in if you would like. I hope you know this is all in good fun and I do collect cabinet cards, N173's etc....(The 1868 Harvard nine cabinet at Mastro's right now is mine with no bids FYI) I am known to be a cowboy at times. Sorry if I affended anyone with my comments. |
