Any one ever seen this football card game ?

I just picked these up today and would like to know how old they are. They were loose in a box lot and there are over 40 of them but I doubt if that is a full set. I can't remember the last time a drop kick was an offensive weapon.

I remember when John Elway did a surprise punt on third down. My dad and I thought he should really fool the defense and do it on first down.

What Elway did was punt on 3rd down. Doesn't the ball have to hit the ground 1st on a drop kick ?

I wasn't saying Elway did a drop kick, just an old fashion-style kick in modern times.

But to Rich's original question...

Will have to do some more digging, but the graphic on the card back is the same used on the cards in Tom Hamilton's Football Game - Pigskin (later just Pigskin), which debuted in 1934 and was in production into the late 1950s. The card face is different, however, and Pigskin cards had a white border on the backs. Might be (can't swear to this by any means) that the same graphic was used in Parker Brothers' All American Foot Ball Game (1925), but not sure that game even used cards. Can tell you, though, that the long-popular Rook debuted around 1910, so obviously the football cards are no older than that.
