Mantle Semi-pro Bat

I purchased this recently at an estate sale. can anyone give me info on it as I haven't seen one before. it would be great if it was an authentic minor league bat for him.It weighs 35 oz and is almost 34" long Thanks Dave

wow! i hope it's a legit Mantle Minor-Leaguer...

BUT, i have to say that Mantle was not in the minors for very long, so i am not too certain that he had his own signature bat in the minors...

i would send picks to John Taube asap...

Thanks for the info. Any Idea why they would put semi pro on a bat? I don't think it would be a selling point. also how old would you say it is

Hillerich and Bradsby has been using "semi pro" / "regulation" as a mid-grade store model bat for a long time. They are listed here in this catalog from the 30's. The good bats (125's, 250's, and 40K's cost $2.50 each).
