I don't see why it shouldn't be encapsulated if it hasn't been altered in any way - they should just give it a grade that takes the miscut into account. |

they won't grade it because they would take an even WORSE beating from you guys if it ended up in an SGC slab. I don't blame them for not grading it. |

I have to agree with Scott on this one. While I can't say whether or not the top cut was done at manufacturing or by a later collector without actually examining the card, I feel this card may be in the same category as many caramel cards (especially E90-1) that have period cuts but are technically too small to holder. If that card belonged to Joe Shmoe and was listed on ebay, we would have a heyday talking about the trim job if it were holdered by SGC, I think a grading company was actually using their brain on this one...there is a first for everything. |
