Everyone has their opinions about what is acceptable when posting on this board and many are willing to share these. I want to continue the openness that Elliot allowed, but there is one type of post that I will delete without hesitation, namely, posting of personally indentifiable information without that person's permission. This includes an email address, physical address, and/or a phone number. If you want to publish your own info, that's your prerogative. |

...to track down personal information should not go unpunished. Rarely, if ever, will you get an admission of guilt in this regard, but MW has admitted doing it and so I believe it deserves some sort of sanction, whatever is appropriate, I don't care. I just don't think it should go unpunished. |

This isn't a military tribunal, it's a vintage card discussion board. Bill has said not to post personal information - hopefully this will be heeded. |

I do a an IP search on most new posters here that refuse to give their real name. Guess you better sanction me too. |

I believe that personal attacks are unwarranted and that no one should be looking up anyone's IP address. I think it is creepy and I don't think I'm alone. |

(I think it's happened twice in the last month, actually) I have their permission to do so. But--how can you tell whether I have permission or not? It's only my word... |
