These posts are useful, as I base my shipping and 'handling' charges on how well the person dresses. |

Don't worry John, I know you had to borrow a suit and tie once, so I won't charge you much. If Keith ever buys from me, I think I might owe him money. |

In otherwords, if anyone knew many consective days I've worn these jeans and that I mistakenly used that Christmas present tie to make coffee for a month until someone advised me that Pierre Cardin didn't make coffee filters, would not mistake me for a fashionable person. |

Not a bad place to eat, but I used to eat at Sam Wo's at least once or twice a week when I lived in downtown SF. Gotta love a place where you practically walk thru the kitchen to get to the seating. The fact it stays open until 4am is also nice since I am a night owl. |

The House of Nam King on Kearny rocks! I'll bet Jay used to go there as well. I drive 50 miles to go there once a week as I cannot resist the Oyster based Yam and shrimp dish! I saw Steve Martin in there once and another time I saw Dennis Hopper and Lew Pinella! |

Sam Wo's was my main Chinese haunt, for German I went to Schroeder's next the Embarcadero Center. For Italian I went to Cafe Sport. The Garlic pasta would leave your breath reaking for days afterwards |

a steep flight of stairs to get to the seating (yes, through the kitchen)? I was there with my mother in 1985, and my mother looked at the menu and asked, "Do you have any Chinese vegitables?" and the waiter said, " Madam, ALL our vegitables (are) Chinese vegitables!" |

Thanks for the tips for eating in San Francisco. I don't live there, either. I used to live down the penninsula (Menlo Park) but moved to Spokane, WA in 1979. I only get to go out when I travel there, which is usually about once a year. |

Scoma's is good, but overhyped. I'm not a big fan of Fisherman's Warf other than to buy fresh crab, but The Grotto is really good and makes a rockin' Crab Del Monaco. |

Tommy's Joint is very cool. If you crave buffalo meat, this is the place to go. They also have a very nice beer selection. When I threw raves in SF, we used to rent out the Hungarian Hall which is about 1/2 a block from there. We used to get a deal on the buffalo stew that was left at the end of the night and we would all be grubbing on that in the backroom of the rave. There is also a very good Mongolian BBQ place on Polk a few blocks form there. It's on the second floor. |

I can't forget this place. Easily the coolest ice cream place in the Bay Area. The have all kinds of vintage toys, mostly 50s and 60s Japanese tin toys and robots along with other interesting pieces. Seating is hard to find though since the place is always crowed. |
