so is the LACK of shellac. I returned a T207 Johnson to Lew Lipset, because the card was naked of shellac, and the borders dead white. Must have gone swimming... |

The cracking and crazing you see is just a natural part of the card. It doesn't really detract from the card unless it is really bad and I've never seen it so bad that it started paper seperation. It's just a function of the glossy finish on the cards. I would to see what one looked like when they were first issued. |

This same high gloss finish, with its cracking or "crazing", also appears on T213 Coupons and M101-4/5 Sporting News cards, plus others I am sure others can name. |
