Hi! Does anyone know where I can get a couple autographs of mine authenticated? Back in the 80's, I bought at an auction signed 3x5 cards of Bill Carrigan, Fred Snodgrass, and Jap Barbeau. Are these desireable in the market (on e-bay?) Any ideas would be great.... |

Signature-wise, none of the players you mentioned is either rare or common (somewhere in between, probably closer to rare than common). Any T206-player signature is popular, even if the player was only a common player. |

You should try and get some image samples of their signatures for comparison. Unlike Babe Ruth and Mark McGwire, none of these guys were the common subject for fogery. It's unlikely the forger would find it in his fiancial interest to practice and practice and practice until he got his Fred Snodgrass just right for a 3x5. |

If your Snodgrass signature is missing the first S, you could get some nice cash on eBay. |

When someone has authenticity questions about autographs they own, the first question I always ask is, "Who did you buy them from?" |
