Manager's bats are sometimes called 'game used', though I agree that the label is at first appearance counterintuitive. Beyond that, I don't have a feel for the value-- other than, it goes without saying that a HOFer's mananger's bat is worth less than one during his playing days. |

A short time ago they moved their operation to Las Vegas. They have had a somewhat spotted past in the memrobilia business. I have heard about some authentication issues. However recently(last several years) they appear to have righted the ship. |

Who gives a damn and how would you know it was game used? Dean Chance only hit .066 for his career,i.e. bat almost never hit ball. Twins fans used to weep openly when he stepped in the box with two out and men on base. The world's absolute worst hitter, I think he had about 5 more lifetime hits than I did. Come to think about it, his game used bat should be worth some dough, seeing as he probably only used one his whole time in the big leagues. |

Which according to Masto's "Game Used Bat Price Guide" is about $2K more than it should have sold for. Assuming you are OK with a managers bat being considered a "Game Used" bat. |
