Default Sorry, Dad.

Dad,
You know that Cracker Jack Ty Cobb that you had? You know, the one you kept safe in a glass picture frame up in the attic. Well, now that your taking a dirt nap, Instead of having it graded for a few bucks and possibly coming into some real money (assuming it is real anyway) or consulting someone knowledgeable or even looking into a hobby guide or other publication. I'm going to sell it on ebay for what I think is a fair price. I'm probably going to get ripped off, too. I mean why bother trying to look up the value of this card or do any research on it? That would require time and effort and I want to cash in now. Sorry, Dad.

Not that I collect CJ's, but if I did, Can a legit one even be found on ebay anymore?

Because geez, if I even thought this was real (which I don't think it is) and it was mine and I didn't know much about cards, I 'd have it graded or at least looked at to be sure, because damn if it was....

This seller also has what appears to be a Huff cut-out for sale as well. Maybe I was just assuming that this seller is unknowledgable.

There is no way you can claim ignorance and know about grading companies.

Perhaps he's selling the card so he can afford a scanner with a bed larger than a 1915 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb .... The invocation of one's dead dad as a marketing ploy is not endearing.
