Hello,
Does anyone out there know anything about this book?"The Book of Baseball",The National Game from the Earliest Days to the Present season,it has a red cloth binding.It has 159 pages,I have heard it was made in 1911, but I have heard of 2 different sizes one was 11"+ 15 1/2" and the other was a little bit bigger.Is one more rare than the other size or is one a remake?Also what type of values do these have? (I've never actually seen one). I've been following these on ebay and the BIN on that one was very reasonable. I've seen it go for a little less, but it's almost always over $400, even in lesser condition. One of the early VCBC issues has a nice article on vintage baseball books by Barry Sloate that lists this book.
