...right now. Classic Baseball Cards, the Golden Years by Frank Slocum. My wife gave me this book for X-Mas a few years back and I must have looked through it a hundred times by now and it never gets old. Must see to believe. |

are the ultimate coffee table books. I also keep out a copy of the 1933 "Who's Who" by Speed Johnson (great for 33/34 Goudey collectors) |

Someone took a picture of Mordeicai brown's magical injured hand, and it has appeared in a book--i just can't find the blasted book. It's not in that nice Conlon collection that--ah yes--"Baseball's Golden Age"; does anyone know? I probably own it; I just haven't suspected it yet. It's not "The Glory of their Times," either. |

That is by far the best book on vintage cards that I have ever seen as far as illustrations. It's been out of print for years so at that price {$35} it's a bargain. I noticed used copies are usually over one hundred. |

Do a search on my feedback. I use it now to inventory everything so a bunch of the books will be mentioned as purchases by me and when and for how much! I have been hoarding them up for a National sometime up the road figureing it would draw attention to my cards when I set up! Hey Sonny Tutor, Mr.Dentist, chime in here and tell Scott how many times you have sent me a reference to that book and I bought it.Scott, you antagonize and then whine when someone responds to it.I'm o.k. with the digs but don't complain when you do not enjoy the silly responses. After all,it was YOU who several times clearly stated reading and participation are vountary. |

I can vouch for the fact that Brian has a ton of these books. You can find them occasionally for super prices when listed under obscure categories. I bought mine for $5 but had to pay more than that for shipping. Too bad I can't find any bargains on 19th century cards... |

Sometimes it's a little hard to know if you guys are serious or just kidding around, but I'd PayPal you $65 plus shipping if you really have one to sell. Just let me know your PayPal e-mail address and shipping charges if it's OK. |
