After we talked about "error" cards, they started coming out of the woodwork, and recently there were board discussions about how impossible it is to find NM T205's. |

Perhaps, seeing the trading card companies' recent success, PSA has issued 'retro' holders. |

a T205 with a bright gold border? Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but those first T205s I saw at the '88 National, it seems to me, had shiny borders. |

really makes me wonder if I had kept all those 205s I pulled from packs, what they whould have graded and how much they would sell for now. |

That makes me feel great. I'm dead broke, and have 3 SGC-80 T205s I've been trying to sell for around $75 each for a few months. |

Julie, I have some of the T205s with the gold borders, almost metallic looking which I believe you are speaking about. I also have owned a few of the green border T205s which I was glad to get rid of years ago because I thought they were freaks and would rather have the "normal" looking ones. Now freak cards go for record prices and I wish I still had them. |

It's not just his PSA 7's - a PSA 6 of Murray (not a difficult card) is well over $300. This is crazy, and will end like most crazy things do, badly. I bought a PSA 5 Bender last month that must be worth a mortgage payment now. |

Hope this doesn't bring back bad memories - I picked it up over the weekend. If the scan doesn't make it clear, the green T205's definitely are ugly! |

I just got it today and have it displayed between the yellow-border Reulbach "printer scrap" card, and a Matty with a solid gold border - they look super-cool together! |

The gold ones are always tarnished. I wonder what you would have to have done to keep ther gold bright? |

Is that a booger below Matty's nose? |

I guess if Leon can fondle his cards and MW can sleep with his, it wouldn't be perverse for me to pick Matty's nose. |
