Had my first experience with a retracted bid on one of my auctions. What recourse do I have? He listed the reason for restraction as "found same item cheaper"

He will get reprimanded for "improper bid retraction". Don't think they do anything unless it is abused by the bidder....

However, for retracting bids, all you have to do is put in "bid wrong amount", and Ebay will never penalize you.

make it so he can't bid on your auctions if you REALLY wanted to go that far..............
