I emailed the seller about possibly taking escrow, here is the response I got (sounds fishy for somebody offering a 100% return)

hes leaving next week. i dont know much about cards pre 70's except for a few lots that come through my booth. but it apears to be nice.i will ask as i see him sun. but i think this might take to long. ill ask
