Default Giving some pre-war premium/supplement love

Since covid the prices have indeed gone crazy for almost everything across the board. One thing, at least to me, that hasn't gone insane are premiums and supplements. Some have, I know, but the obscure ones that rarely become available to sale haven't jumped nearly as much it seems. For someone like me that collects them I love it. Of course, as I type this I can hear the prices increase ten-fold on everything I collect LOL
Added a photo of one as no good post should be without a photo

I believe part of the reason is because the opinion sellers don't have big enough slabs.

I'll bet they are working on a solution, but they will never find one big enough for this one.

Please forgive my boxing fan nerd brain for that one. It was actually a literary reference to sportswriter Frank Menke's description of the 1923 Dempsey-Firpo fight. He called it "the greatest fight since the Silurian Age". The two fighters combined for 11 knockdowns, with Firpo knocking Dempsey out of the ring in the first round before Dempsey rallied to win by knockout in the second. This fight is widely considered one of the most dramatic and exciting in boxing history and is often used to describe an event of unparalleled ferocity and non-stop action. I was making a tongue-in-cheek (very) obscure reference to what it was like when I got that Greenberg premium: non-stop and ferocious hunting and buying because this sort of stuff was all over the place and affordable.

I think I paid 85 bucks for this one before everyone wanted one with an ad back.
