I believe Ross Barnes did it in the National Association, if you're including that.

Hornsby is usually a good guess for questions like these. And how about Brouthers or Delahanty?

Hornsby is correct! He had 227 hits and 89 walks for an absurd .507 On Base Percentage in 1924.

The other 3 are more recent.

Correct! In 1958 Ashburn led the NL in hits (215), walks (97), batting average (.350), OBP (.440), and triples (13).

Two more

IIRC Boggs walked a fair amount, so I'll guess him.

Boggs led the league in hits once and walks twice, but never in the same season.

There is a Red Sox player on the list though.

Williams had SO many walks I doubt despite his high average he ever led the league in hits. So it would have to be Yaz. How could Boggs only lead the league in hits once? He had some astonishingly high batting averages.

Yes, its Yastrzemski in 1963.

The last guy on the list is the only non Hall of Famer, and played for the same team as one of the other guys on the list.

You got it! Dykstra led the NL with 194 hits and 129 walks in '93.

Well done!
