Default FS: Ca.1910 Bubble Glass Chalk Drawing of a Baseball player.

I have a very cool item to offer for sale today. It is a ca.1910 Chalk Drawing of a Baseball player. I couldn't identify the player or the team based on the p.

This sucker is big, It measures 24x18. And has a beautiful original gilded frame with a great decorative edge around it. It is separated in two spots on the decorated edge but still extremely solid, they really don't make em like this anymore! Original hanging wire is also intact for whatever that's worth. A very neat and eclectic piece I think it would make any pre war memorabilia rooms wall.

Price is $SOLD. payment by ppff or check please.

Shipping will be $25-$30. However I will split with the buyer. So let's call it $14 for the buyer.

If you would like to email me:

Ok update, still available. One good offer but couldn't quite come to an agreement which is ok that's how it goes sometimes.

I am going to make my official price $500. For this piece.

I personally think it's probably more like 1910-1915 but just to be safe we will say ca.1920) Chalk Drawing of a Baseball player. I couldn't identify the player or the team based on the p.
I can't identify the player or the team, but the collar on the uniform shirt suggests a date of about 1910 or earlier. After that, collars disappeared, except for a one-year revival with the 1913 Chicago Cubs. I'm pretty sure that minor league and amateur teams followed the same uniform trends as the major league teams.

Thank you for that, it seems like an obvious detail that I overlooked. But I am honestly not the most well versed in early uniforms and when they date, but I did get the vibe compared to early photos that I have possessed or seen that this subject seemed pre 1920 by a good bit. I'm going to change the title to reflect the date. Cheers
