There was some promoter who ended up scamming a lot of autograph collectors out of a sizeable chunk of change. He always referred to everyone as "Boss". That's when I first started getting suspicious of anyone else who did the same.

A week or two ago, someone messaged me on Marketplace to buy an abundance of old top loaders. Again, with the "Boss". I made a gentleman's wager with myself, shaking my right hand with my left, that he'd never show up as promised. One guess what happened.

I think that whenever a "Boss" is foisted upon us, we need to start replying "COO-coo!" and walk away.
