Default How do you guys value rare moder variations?

Here are some rare ones I picked up over the years and people have asked me to buy some but I never know what is the correct range when they are just so rare.

Here are some below in pictures:

1980 topps Greg Pryor missing name
1980 topps Jack Clark no position
1989 Fleer checklists with positions
1986 Terry Puhl Blue Streak
1991 Topps doug Drabek White border
1986 Sportflics Robin Yount YANKEES version

I have many more but for example the Yount I have seen sell from 100-800, so I am assuming that is "the range" but don't want to give these away either...

The Puhl was crazy for a while. Then a few came to the market and killed the crazy high prices. After the very few high end collectors got theirs it is an error not many care about. I have bought and sold 3 graded examples after the Puhl crash and think I got around $100 each around 2-3 years ago.

The first few went for $800-$1000. But that was when all of us wanted one and nobody had any.

If I remember correctly a guy opened a case(rack packs) and found several Blue Streak cards. I can't remember how many of each.

I would list it at that price. I have not looked at them since I sold mine. Maybe someone new is looking. That is the thing with all the errors you have pictured. Most wouldn't give a $1 for any of them but some of us crazy error collectors will pay a bundle. As you know it is about finding a buyer for these types of cards.

I need all 3, Puhl, Seaver and Clemens. However just to exspensive for me. I can buy 50 plus other variations I need as I find them for the same cost.

I would be interested in a 1989 Fleer Checklist #658 with the Cardinals for my team set collection. I just looked on Ebay and a couple of other places and I could not find one. How rare are they?

I have only seen 3 copies of each ever pop up.

At first I think #656 popped up 2-3 times then the rest maybe once or twice...

I'm sure there are a few more out there but most people don't check the checklist or even save them...

I was going for the 89 fleer full set of variations but now gave it up ...so I ll move all of these

Default I went through the COMC Data Base this Am

And I only looked for those cards the OP showed. We have no cards with positions. I suspect they are very very difficult to find indeed

Regards
Rich

Trying to confirm - were the 1989 Fleer checklists with positions included in packs or could they have been some sort of back-door thing or something else? If pack inserted they would go on my want list.

The two people I talked to said packs early on when they were searching for errors...but they don't remember pulling it because it was just in a pile of Commons as expected
