Default T206 Winter Organize continues

As of yesterday, I completed the team subset for the Boston Doves/Rustlers(Braves). I now have the album organized , catalogued all the loose cards and now see what I need to get to get closer to “my” magic number. Going forth the goal is to fill the gaps and then see what’s next after that.
The Boston Natl was one of the easier teams as they only had 14 cards , one player, one card.( as opposed the the New York Giants and others. Out of the Giant’s 53 card set, I have 34 of them and a lot of the 10 HOF’s….thank God I bought most of them back in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.)
My next project was the St Louis Browns, of the 11 I’m missing, I was able to secure 8 cards last night from various sources( 1 being the Waddell portrait, already had the fielding) So with 3 left( Pelty, Demmitt and Wallace, I’m close. That said, sadly this may be a team with a hole in it as the Demmitt StL , as you all know, will be the tough one. I already have his NY Amer card….but that doesn’t work for the St Louis set.
BUT, I’m closing in on the StL bunch and then will move on to the next team.
One unrelated frustration, but the frustration keeps the hunt alive, on my Cracker Jack collection, I’m 2 shy of the Boston Braves team. There are 14 in that set as well(must be the Braves lucky number) , but I cannot find the last two, Butch Schmidt and Lefty Tyler. In fact, I’ve noticed Cracker Jack offerings in general on this site have all but vanished, especially the more affordable cards. Not much better on the three dedicated to CJ Facebook pages. You can find cards in abundance on eBay, but pricing is all over the map.
Anyway, the hunt continues and more importantly…..the FUN continues!

I love organizing t206 by team. When you do it, it opens up a whole bunch of questions, like why does Bill Carrigan have a red background.

I agree Chris…..you get a sense of what the whole team looked like.
