Default Jack Coombs

So my great great uncle was Jack Coombs, and I’ve been hunting down his cards for years. If any of you have a card of his you’d be willing to part with, I’m always interested in potentially buying them. I’m mostly looking for the e98’s, especially the orange, but I’m always happy to upgrade the ones I have. Also looking for his plows candy card. I’ve never seen an example, so even if you’re not selling it I’d love to even see what it looks like. Thank you in advance!!

Welcome, Coombshunter. Good luck in the quest of your great, great uncle's cards.

Good luck with the cards. I don’t have anything but am very familiar with his great book. My high school baseball coach played for him at Duke with Dick Groat. He made us practically memorize the book. I have signed copy I love.

Your great uncle should be in the Hall of Fame. In 1910, 11, and 12 he was as good if not better than Johnson or Mathewson. Currently not for sale seldom seen Colgan’s Tin Top.
