So many relatives letting us know that their uncles, stepdads and grandpas all have cards for us. Their emails always have different surnames incorporated into them....must all be on the mother's side of the family.

I think we may have jumped the gun!

When I pasted his message into a non-collector translator app, it cleared up what his intent was:

"I wish my fellow collectors the warmest of greetings, and would like to introduce you to my stepfather, a saintly man who married my mother and saved our family from ruin after the calamitous passing of my beloved father.
He owns some beautiful cards dating from the late 1800’s that are in remarkable shape for their age. He will be delighted to talk to you about them and answer any questions that are sure to come.

I am also willing to help, but as a stone mason (hence my user name) this is my busy season and it may be tough for me to find the time, but I will assist when possible.

My kindest regards,
Tony ("Tiger" to my friends)

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
