Default 1953 St. Louis Cardinals photo book

This is a small book, date of 1953 on front, with individual photos of various Cardinals players inside, including Musial, Slaughter, Stanky, Schoendienst, Repulski, Benson, Anderson, Lowery, Jablonski, etc. I have never seen one and can't identify it.

I have uploaded a photo of the book, and I have several pictures of the small indvidual photos, but I have been unsuccessful in any of them uploading. Help on uploading?

Could anyone assist on estimating its value it or know of any comparable sales? Just a guess would be fine.

Lots of trouble with photos it seems on the forum lately. I think people need an updated guide on how to post them.

I would recommend simply using Google Drive make a folder for the pictures, put them in it and then share the folder link here.

I recall seeing somebody trying to sell an album on eBay a few years back. It wasn't cheap — the seller wanted a couple thousand dollars for it. I just Googled the topic, and I see that Bob Lemke made post about them 15 years ago on Net54. He didn't receive much feedback.

I just noticed it is the same writing on yours as the blog post from 2009... hmm Where did you acquire it? I'm guessing the poster of the blog died and you ended up with the same book in question.

I have the Musial for sale in the 1950-1959 bst.

It's stamped by George Dorrill the cardinals team photographer. And predates 1953, probably taken in 51 or 52 (used for '52 issues). I would guess all of the photos in the album are stamped, unless they are all blank back? If it really was from a set and can be catalogued, I may pull mine for sale. Nice story from Bobs blog!

Would love to see Red. Especially If it's an image I've never seen before.

Edit: Article says the photos have no identification. So probably no stamp. I do believe they are all still Dorrill photos.

Default 1953 Cardinals Photo book

Here is the first Lemke post about this Cardinals Photo book

https://boblemke.blogspot.com/2009/10/

In it he describes the photos as 3-1/4" x 4-1/8".

Curious Lucas if this is the size of the Musial photo you have?
