I finally got the 1970 Washington Senators D.C. Traffic Safety group completed. I picked up the Aurelio Rodriguez 10 card uncut sheet last week.

And I came across a very nice Harmon Killebrew 58 Topps card I could not pass up. Wax on the back but so what. The front is smokin'

I haven't been on the site for a while. Collecting has been on indefinite hold for about two years. But I saw an BIN come up for a 1978 Burger King Tigers team set for a great price, and even though the photos didn't show all the corners, I thought I'd take a risk on it. Glad to report the cards were all in top shape.

National grail pickup. I had a misstep last year with this one, and decided I wanted a copy that was better centered. As many of you are no doubt aware, this card is an absolute bitch kitty to find with any room at the top above his name. I know that, and it’s actually so common that grading companies frequently just ignore it, but the ones where it’s almost cutoff just have never looked right to me.

This one fit the bill!

You have to look at a lot of 54 Ernie Banks to find one with centering like that

a couple of 1966 Topps Venezuelan cards
first Venezuelan cards that i have bought so i hope that they are actually Venezuelan
the picture is definitely murkier/less glossy but seem to be as thick as the US cards which i thought were thinner

Nice card, and super nice centering for that particular one as well. For some reason I have always found that lower grade cards I find and pickup seem to naturally have good centering for some reason. It’s like I attract them.
