1934-36 Batter-Up of Jimmy Dykes White Sox - Ends Sunday 10/15 @ 8pm CST
This week there are four vintage cards up for auction, including HOF'ers Chief Bender and Brooks Robinson, and popular players Jimmy Dykes as well as Doc Cramer (a career .296 hitter with over 2700 hits...impressive).
This auction consists of a 1934-36 Batter Up card # 29 of popular player/manager Jimmy Dykes of the Chicago White Sox. This slightly tougher to come by green tint version has a vertical crease running from top of card to his cap, a nootchkie on bottom right border, some mild staining on the front, and on back a paper layer has been extracted from Jimmy's cranial area, and there is some staining/residue across both top and bottom. Still retains a nice batting image of the Dykester. Minimum opening bid is $1 for this card, and the bidding increment should be in whole dollars. Bids with a time stamp of 8:00 pm CST on closing night or earlier are valid, anything after that is considered an unsuccessful bid. The shipping if you win one of my auctions this week will be $4.50, for two it will also be $4.50 total. Win 3 or 4 auctions and the shipping is FREE. All cards will be shipped in a padded envelope.
