SOLD: 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle - PSA A
Up for sale is a 1951 Bowman rookie of HOFer Mickey Mantle graded PSA A.
The card is very nicely centered for the issue and is flawed by paper loss on three spots on the front, none of which detract from Mantle's image. There are also all sorts of minor bumps along the surface of the card, which are pretty apparent in certain light. You can see them on Mantle's jersey if you look closely. It's almost like it had been squished on tiny-pebbled pavement 70 years ago. I'm only selling this card because I found an upgrade and need to fund the purchase. I'm a little torn because this one looks so nice and fits my "collector grade" / "nice for the grade" focus. $SOLD Edit 11/24 - I’ve just cross-posted this on eBay.
