Default Berk Ross Joe DiMaggio, Trading for T206's--

I bought this Dimaggio many years ago. Now I'm thinking of trading/selling it, and I really have no idea of its value.

Anyone out there know and can help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Doug

Thank you, Lucas and Brent.

I'm going to put the card up for trade, first, with a value within your parameters. I only actively collect T206's at this point, so they are all I really want to trade for.
In the event that there are no traders, I'll sell. First come will be first served.

I'd add this regarding condition: For a card of its day that saw some play, despite the nick of corner damage, in hand, it has no obvious creases, though the back scan seems to show a wrinkle near the left border. The color seems pretty good.
I would've given it a Good by my old standards, but I won't dispute Brett, who is probably more in tune with today's tougher standards.
By any standards, as they used to say, it presents well.

PM me if interested.

Around $500 I would call fair. Maybe a little lower with the corner wear.

I have one of those, too. Plus the Granny Hamner, the card it was separated from. Both raw. I don't want to sell, but I would be curious to know.

$400.00 - $425.00 is a price that will attract buyers. You will hear crickets at $500.00.

The last SGC 1 sold for $411.00 at auction. A PSA 2 sold, at a set price, for $500.00.

However, those cards were in holders. Your card is raw. Those sales were about two months ago. The market has softened a bit since those sales.

I’d say your example is a 1. Possibly a 1.5 on a great day.

Good luck

I prefer that card to the Leaf DiMaggio. It's a funny card. I have a 1951 Berk Ross which has migrated into the permanent collection, but I did look at selling it at one point and never got a decent offer. OTOH, it's hard to find them at a decent price.

Good luck with your trade, or alternative sale. I've always liked this card. It is DiMaggio's last true playing-days card.

Although he has a 1952 Berk Ross card, it is not technically a playing-days card, because DiMaggio retired in December 1951.
