I've decided not to upgrade my 53 Bowman Color set any further and these are my final extras that I am sure someone out there can use. I have been working on upgrading various cards or acquiring the missing insert sets for my 1970-1974 Topps Baseball sets, this is what I'm looking for:
1970: I need the poster, story, and scratch-off inserts. I am okay with very good to excellent, non-slabbed examples. 1971: Coins- I am collecting these in very good and very good to excellent condition. I don't mind if wear is around the rim, but they must have clear images. No slabs, please, here are the numbers: 4; 18; 22; 34; 48; 53; 54; 57; 58; 59; 60; 61; 67; 70; 71; 72; 73; 74; 76; 77; 80; 84; 85; 86; 87; 88; 94; 98; 112; 117; 125; 139; 142 I have the following 1971 coins for trade, ranging in VG to VG/EX: 20; 33; 39; 41; 46 1971 Singles: My set is a strong ex-mint and for those who have dealt with me before, I under-grade my cards. (Near-mint on eBay is generally vg/ex to excellent about 70% of the time.) However, the main weakness of my set is its centering. I would like, but don't need cards that are perfectly centered: 60/40 side to side and 80/20 top to bottom are fine as long as the borders show almost no wear and nothing diamond cut. Wax and gum stains on the reverse are acceptable. This is what I am looking for with 60/40 centering: 190; 246; 268; 280; 350; 386; 370; 532; 537; 553; 557; 561; 564; 573; 585; 608; 634; 651; 661; 689; 719; 734; 735; 750; 751 I have over 500 1971 singles mostly in VG/EX to excellent condition for trade, this includes semi-high and high numbers. Star-wise, I don't have any of the "A-listers" (Clemente, Mays, Aaron, or Munson), but I do have a few of the other stars (F. Robinson, Dick Allen, and the Baker/Baylor) available in VG/EX condition. Likewise, I also have groups of 1972, 1973, 1974, and 1975 Topps for trade. 1974: This one is easy; I need almost all of the Washington National League San Diego Padres variations. Excellent-mint is fine and 60/40 side to side and 80/20 top to bottom is fine, no diamond cuts. My want list is much larger than the 53 Bowman Color that I'm offering and I am not expecting my want list to be filled based on what I have unless there are wants from 1971-75. Along with the images, I will list the grade. In the past, I would state an individual assessment for each grade; for this posting, I will state the grade and if you're interested I will send a more precise description via a PM. Here is the list of cards and the prices if I were to sell: #4 Houtteman vg/ex 10 #6 Ginsberg ex-mint 23 #17 Staley vg/ex 10 #20 Lenhardt vg/ex 8.50 #21 Garagiola ex 24 #37 Wilson ex 17 #45 Dropo vg/ex 10 #73 Pierce ex 23 #78 Furillo vg/ex 20 #98 Rodriguez ex 18 #116 Yost ex, but SGC may give it a 4 due to centering 40 #119 Mitchell PSA 4.5 40 #127 Kryhoski vg/ex 20 #131 Ryan vg/ex Miscut at the bottom 11 |
