Unusual T206 Card Like Images Wagner, Mathewson & Others
Picked up a few small scrapbook albums that contain 1910 to 1916 poster stamps and in one are these baseball images. They appear to be trimmed. They are not on card stock but are instead a thicker paper stock. Thicker than a magazine publication paper or say newspaper insert. The images are lithographic quality similar to carmel cards of the era.
My guess is that they are trimmed from some sort of poster or advertising piece but I cant recall ever seeing anything that is familar. Just curious if anyone recognizes what they are from
