Unknown Yankee photo - Witt?

Below is a photo I have had a while that is not identified. The second photo is a reference photo of Whitey Witt. It seems that my photo is also Witt. Check out the reference photo and Witt's hat. It looks like he may have added holes to provide some ventilation(?) Anyone seen this before? My photo also seems to have same hat but the surface of the hat is pretty dim. Even on the reference photo, need to enlarge it a bit to see what could be ventilation holes.

Don't ask why I am worrying about this...
