I attempted to buy a '54 Topps Willie Mays card off ebay.
It was sent to CSG for authentication, but failed. It was deemed "recolored" according to the seller. The seller has offered to sell to me for $100 less than I originally paid, and says he/she has "gone over it several times with a 10 power mag glass" and can't find any evidence of tampering. The seller has 100% positive feedback and over 2,000 feedbacks. The seller says if I don't like it, I can return for a refund. Thoughts on how best to determine if its been recolored?
