Default *SOLD* Rare Brooklyn Dodgers Items (Hugh Casey, War Bond)

As per my previous posts, I wanted to share a couple more items that I am looking to move. It's hard to part with these, but it needs to happen as I continue to narrow my collection. Both are some particularly rare Brooklyn Dodgers items, as follows...

1. This was one of my favorite pieces... an original George Burke 4x6 of Hugh Casey, signed by Casey himself (based on variables, it appears this may be from the late-1930s). A signed piece by Casey is extremely difficult to acquire, particularly due to his untimely passing in 1951. I apologize for the image quality, but as most will know with some of these earlier Burke photos, the sepia tones and image texture is stunning. SOLD

2. Another favorite... an original war bond "hero card" issued by the Brooklyn Dodgers during their 1943 season, in support of the WWII effort. For a donation, fans at Ebbets Field would receive a hero card, which features a nice shot of the team on the front. Overall, in great condition and quite the seldom-seen piece. SOLD

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, and/or would like to send over an offer. Thanks and take care!
