I have read that the 1947-66 Exhibits measure 3 3/8 inches by 5 3/8 inches.
I have several hundred cards from that set. For some reason, many of their widths measure 3 5/16 inches. Exactly 1/16 inch off. In every case, the height is perfect. I wonder whether they were actually trimmed or did this happen when the card was manufactured. I have so many examples where the width is exactly 1/16 inch off that it makes me wonder. Would a grading company come back and say they were trimmed? Anyone have any opinion on this? |

I am one who believes trimming is sometimes a debatable subject.
