I have seen a lot with 'roller marks' and smudges, but this is new to me. No liquid damage to surface and the black was applied after the blue.

Beautiful! Those are one of my favorite types of print errors and I grab them if they are reasonably priced.

Darren, I always wonder how many sheets got through with something like that? It's cool that it's almost identical.

If you mean the elongated card it is a scanner issue on the part of the seller.

I know cyan is the source of many problems in printing, but usually it is just a matter of saturation, lol. Here are a couple I found in my 76 box. Falcone missing yellow pass and some sort of blob that I can't tell if it is pre or post print.

So your
(((( 'roller marks' and smudges)))) In the printing industry those smugges are know as blanket smashes. And the happen when the printing is basically doing a bad job of quality control for many diffrent reasons. They should have been pulled as waste before being sent to cutting. But you get in trouble if you have to much waste in your bin at the end of a shift from your bad work, so people would try to hide those bad sheets to make their numbers better. |
