SOLD 1953 young Mickey Mantle Type 1 photos/contact prints
Two type 1 contact prints of a baby-faced Mickey as he was the guest on the comedian Joe E. Brown's baseball pre-game show.
Each measures 2.5"x2.5" The first image shows a wide smiling Mantle with Brown. Taken from behind the show's camera. This was produced with a flipped negative The second image shows Mantle and Brown with obscure Yankees 3B Loren Babe. Looks like Babe crashed the party and sat on Brown's knee. Everyone looks to be having a good time[/U]

Maybe Loren Babe is in the photo since Mantle used Babe's bat to hit his 565 ft. homer.
