Does anyone have experience requesting autographs in the mail to former players? I thought it would be fun to try this with my sons, since they enjoy getting baseball autographs. What would be the best publication, pdf, etc. to purchase to get current player addresses as well as which ones charge a fee? Thanks!

There are a number.
I use this one. It is $15 per year and has a ton of people active so it is constantly being updated. https://sportscollectors.net/ |

SCN is good, Harvey Meiselman also puts out an address list that is good, though it has been several years since I used it. SportsCardForum.com has an address database as well and is free to join.
