Default 53 Bowman Color For Sale/Trade + Want Lists- 53B, 71& 72T (Updated 12/30/2021)

Almost all of my duplicate 1953 Bowman Color cards have been sold; this is what I have left:

#4 Houtteman vg/ex+ light rounding at bottom left corner, 30/70 centering left to right, clean 10

#6 Ginsberg ex-mint 70/30 centering top to bottom, sharp corners clear image, clean reverse 19

#20 Lenhardt vg/ex 40/60 centering top to bottom and left to right, clear image and clean reverse 8.50

#21 Garagiola ex- 35/65 centering top to bottom, 65/35 left to right, clean image, wax stains on reverse, sharp corners 25

#37 Wilson ex 30/70 centering top to bottom, corners slightly touched, clear image, clean reverse 14

#73 Pierce ex 35/65 centering top to bottom, wax stain on reverse, top left corner has a slight ding, clear image 23

#98 Rodriguez vg/ex+ 55/45 centering left to right, 60/40 centering top to bottom, clear image, clean reverse, the top left corner has a ding 10

#130 Michaels GAI 5.5 First Graded 60/40 centering left to right, 65/35 top to bottom. minute wear on the tips of the corners, image and surface is clear and the reverse has one small, faint wax stain about 1" long and 1/4" wide just above the number, it is clean otherwise. If regraded it would be no less than a 5 and maybe still a 5.5 in comparison with similar PSA and SGC cards in my collection 40

#131 Ryan vg/ex+ 25/75 centering left to right and 80/20 top to bottom, moderate diamond cut at the bottom, light smudge on the top right that appears on the bleachers, bright clear image and clear reverse- 11

Individual non-slabbed cards will ship in a PWE at .99 cents each. More than three cards, individual cards over $20.00, or slabbed are shipped for $4.50. Images are available upon request. I cannot ship outside the continental 48 states of the USA.

I am to the point where I can't take my set much beyond its current level; my major stars will more than likely remain as vg/ex to ex. There are some odds and ends that I have on the list to upgrade. All of these that I am upgrading would be a high vg/ex to ex-mint already. I would like to trade any individual card, pair, more than a pair, or even the entire group. I'd like cards in ex-mint condition; 65/35 centering up or down/side to side works; sharp corners; clear image and no more than a light gum or wax stain on the reverse. These days with slabbed cards in 5-6 going for prices that I don't consider reasonable, raw works fine. Here's the list:

#78 Furillo
#94 Addis
#101 Schoendienst
#104 Easter- centered
#116 Yost- centered (priority)
#119 Mitchell- centered (priority)
#132 Hutchinson- centered 40/60 (priority)
#147 Koshorek- centered and clear image

1971 Topps Baseball (looking for the new label equivalent of PSA/SGC 7, centering at least 60/40)
#138 Phillies Rookies
#264 Joe Morgan
#329 W.S. #3
#384 Rollie Fingers
#488 Jerry Stephenson
#525 Ernie Banks
#549 Jim Brewer
#577 Jim Lonborg
#625 Lou Brock
#640 Frank Robinson
#660 Ray Culp
#664 Rookies
#667 Jack DiLauro
#684 Curt Motton
#689 Frank Baker
#690 Bob Moose
#694 Rick Renick
#696 Jerry Morales
#698 Brewers Team
#699 Jim Britton
#7o3 Mike Kekich
#704 J.C. Martin
#712 Jose Martinez
#714 Dick Williams
#742 Royals Team
#749 Ken Szotieski
#751 Al Weis

1972 Topps (PSA/SGC 5.5/6 new label equivalents wanted)

#50 Willie Mays IA
#251 Checklist #3
#300 Hank Aaron IA
#345 Rick Wise Youth
#492 Mel Stottlemeyer Youth
#510 Ted Williams
#512 Paul Popovich
#532 Jerry Kendall
#538 Charlie Sands
#607 Frank Duffy
#695 Rod Carew
#696 Rod Carew IA
#712 Bruce Del Canton
#786 Chuck Brinkman
#787 Ron Reed

I have a list of 1975 Topps Baseball needed as upgrades in the 1980-Now section along with other non-vintage cards I have for sale/trade.

Bump, I sold the 2016 Heritage master set and added three high numbers to the 53 Bowman list. On my 53 Bowman set, I'd prioritize upgrading the Spahn, Lockman, Yost, Drews, and Mitchell in that order in a trade. On the 71 set, I have a little more than half of the high numbers and some assorted stars, but nothing else. I'd love to trade for a 400+ lot of 71 singles.

Default I have 71’s

I have a ton of extra 71’s. Do you have a list of what you need? Also, I’m in Long Beach so we are close.

Bump. I changed my want list, now I'm looking for 1971 Topps baseball. In particular, I'm looking for a lot or starter set that contains 400 or more singles in vg/ex to ex condition along with some stars and high numbers.

Bump once again. I have switched mainly to 1971 Topps Baseball, but there are still a few 1953 Bowman's I'd like to upgrade:

48 Sauer
113 Drews
116 Yost
119 Mitchell
127 Kryhoski
157 Lollar
159 Fox

I've responded in a PM. For anyone else who reads this message, I have some small room on prices because I'm selling them for pretty much what I paid. There are times where I incur a slight loss in order to purchase something else I want. When someone buys a quantity, I usually will take something off the price because I like that when a seller does that for me.

I will testify to anyone reading this post that Phil is a stand-up card trader. You won't be disappointed. This is an unsolicited testimonial from a happy, 1953 Bowman color collector who Phil went a long way in helping complete the set...great price and great cards!

Bump. My set is almost complete. I need the following: Munson; Bill Lee; Seaver; Bench; Jenkins; Cubs team; John; Giants team; Sizemore; Kenney; Freehan; Dave Cash; Rookie Stars #594; Checklist #6; Athletics team; Alomar. I would also like to trade for a group of 71 coins as well.

Bump I am open to trades for larger lots of Topps Baseball in the following years: 1959, 1964, 1965, 1970, and 1972. I am also interested in a 1974 complete set.

Bump. The three main upgrades would be Yost, Drews, and Mitchell. I would trade my Feller for a nice ex-mint to near mint Drews. I have others that I am upgrading which are in vg/ex + condition that I'd like to move up to excellent to ex-mint if anyone would like to see that list.

Bump again. Since the last time, I've sold a few 1953s through eBay. I'm strict on my grading and willing to sell/trade individually or as a group.

Bump. I've sold some of the singles and lowered a few prices since I last posted this. I would really like to add to my 70 Topps set, so if you could use any 53 Bowman Color for your collection please contact me.

Default Phil's grading is accurate.

Phil's grading of these cards are spot on. I was more than pleased with the pickups that Inpurchased from him. Not many guys on here grade like he does.
