Being a new member and trying to complete my MSA disc years. I've come so close to finally completing my MSA discs on Thurman Munson. Until coming to the plate and striking out! Just one disc left to "Collect" for completing my MSA Disc's on Thurman Munson! And that "One" MSA disc 1977 MSA Thurman Munson Wendy's Hamburger disc! Trying to achieve the book closure on completing this MSA Disc set for Thurman Munson! WOW!!! Still looking and looking and looking...you get the picture! Any other "Collector" strike out like this? Note: read long past post on this MSA Disc and still amazed how tough it is to complete a set on one baseball player!

Do you have both variations of the Red Barn backs?
Address and no address? |

I have looked for years for the No Address version of the four Cubs in the 1976 Red Barn Disc set and have never seen one, I wonder if only some players were printed without the address.

That's a great question. I have both versions of the Red Barn Jim Palmer disc, but have never been able to find the other two Orioles, Brooks Robinson and Reggie Jackson. I would love to know if I should stop looking. |

Here is the thread I did 8 years ago featuring my Lou Brock collection Pages 5 and 6 show all of the MSA discs and some MSA test issues associated with them. |

Also, post #431 on page 6 shows a Penn Emblem Co. patch that was originally issued in 1978 as part of a 103 patch set, with 102 different players and two versions of the Pete Rose patch with red or blue border colors. The company was out of Philadelphia and the patches originally retailed for about $2.50 each. On page 7, post #540, and also page 8, post #563, you show some additional stamped Carousel MSA discs you had picked up. But again, no nearly complete run of MSA discs is shown. Found them, they're on page 4, starting at post #249, not page 5. Last edited by BobC; 01-18-2022 at 12:16 PM. |
