Walter Johnson Type 1 Photos 1940 Congress Run - 3 Auctions **CLOSED***
Up for bids are 3 Walter Johnson Type 1 photos from his post playing days and related to his run for a Republic seat in congress.
Please list the lot you are bidding on. Minimum bid for each lot is $10.00. Please bid in increments of at least $1.00. All three auctions end on Sunday, January 16 at 10:00 PM EST. Bids time stamped at 10:00 are good. Bids time stamped 10:01 or later, no bueno. Good luck and thanks for looking! Lot 1: Feb 1940 Wajo standing, announcing his candidacy for Congress (size 6.75" x 8.75"). Lot 2: May 7, 1940 Wajo, leading in primary, listening to election returns at his headquarters in Rockville, MD (size 7" x 9"). Lot 3: June 27, 1940 Wajo with Vermont Gov. George Aiken, Ohio Gov. John Bricker, and Massachusetts Gov. Leverett Saltonstall at the 1940 RNC (size 7" x 9").
