FS: 1880s Ring Bat...J.W.&Co. Professional League
Circa 1880's ring style bat made by the manufacturers, J.W. & Co. This 'Professional League' model bat is 34", un-cracked, and features a dark painted handle, and black barrel ring with painted end (flat top). There is no dead, raised, split, or swollen grain on the hitting surfaces, and the knob is virtually flawless. The bat does show some representative aging, with some wear to the very end of the barrel but nothing unexpected for a 130+ year old specimen.
