Do You Use the Paypal Credit Card on Ebay?

This may get a bit confusing, but I have a question.

Ebay changed the rules and no longer allows people to add a new link to a Paypal account to pay on Ebay. If you had an account linked before they changed the rules, they let you keep that account linked. This is my situation and I imagine applies to most people here.

I also have the Paypal credit card (not Paypal credit, but the Visa/Mastercard). I added it to my Ebay payment options just like any other credit card, but Ebay will not let me use this card to check out, saying it isn't accepted or something like that. All other credit cards I have linked work just fine.

I can, however, use the Paypal credit card by clicking on Paypal in the payment, which has Ebay then open up a new window to take me to Paypal, where I can pay using my balance or my credit card. Click credit card, confirm, and then back to Ebay you go to finish the sale. This is an annoying step and is slow too as the move between the pages takes a bit in both directions.

My question: Does anyone here use a Paypal credit card to check out WITHOUT having a linked Paypal account?

I am wondering if removing the link to my Paypal account will make it so that I can use my Paypal credit card as a regular credit card (where it is now denied, possibly because I also have a linked Paypal account). I don't want to delete my linked Paypal account which lets me use that credit card only to find that this now means I have no way to use the card because Ebay still won't let me use it as a regular card and I am sure they won't let me relink my Paypal account given their rules.

I'd ask Ebay, but lol.

Sorry, don't know the answer to your question. Just wanted to add a little twist.

When I ship items out through the Ebay shipping tool, it lets me pay, either by using "Pending Payments" or my linked Paypal account......but it won't let me add my Paypal Debit card (1% cash back on), to pay any of my outstanding Ebay selling debts.

I know...it's only 1%, but still unnecessarily annoying.
