Pokémon card grading - help! Is SGC ok?
Baseball HOF collector here hoping to get some informed advice for helping my daughter decide where to submit this card (see below) for grading.
Since I already submit to SGC, it seems hard for her to beat the value of a $30 grading cost… Will she have much trouble selling this one in an SGC tuxedo holder? Also, hoping this might score a nice high grade… how does this one look to experienced Pokémon graders? I honestly couldn’t even begin to figure out centering, corners, surfaces, etc. Thanks for your advice Jeff

I wouldn’t ever consider SGC for Pokemon. My son and I are waiting for PSA,even if it takes years. I would use BGS and even HGA before SGC and CSG.
SGC resale on modern is terrible (pretty much everything but especially Pokémon) as compared to PSA. If you can’t wait and don’t care about resale, I guess SGC would be ok. Good luck!
