Make it mandatory for kids who want to play to be fully vaccinated by taking a vaccine that they didn’t need for an illness that won’t hurt them, just so they could play hockey, then cancelling the tournament anyway.

When is this madness going to end?

I thought it was an omen when the US game was forfeited yesterday. Now this today. They should have just cancelled the danged thing before all the teams traveled to Canada. What an expensive mess….

For such a miniscule amount of players testing positive, it certainly seems like an overreaction to me.
With covid dominating our lives for the past 2 yrs, I thought things might have been planned out a bit better than this, but maybe they thought, since everyone was vaccinated, covid wouldn't rear its ugly head?

It’s crazy in Canada right now. We have a large portion of our media still pumping out fear 24/7 and keeping ppl scared because it’s bringing them clicks. There is no balanced news up here right now and it’s feeding the fire,forcing politicians to add more and more restrictions

Exactly what I've been saying. People are still afraid because they've been told to be afraid.

The media. Best not to get me started on those morons, but then again, look what party funds them for the most part. I don't think the politicians are being forced, I think it is the other way around as they are the ones doing the forcing and the ones telling the media what to say.
