MISSION ACCOMPLISHED - Two “starter” cards - $30 tops

To save you all the details, some boring, some self serving, I’m looking for 2 “beat up” cards to start the tobacco card journey for the sons of a couple I have worked with for parts of 3 decades. Their mom is undergoing chemo, I’ve shared some of the pics of my collection with the dad and he says his kids are crazy for my cards. Boys are 10 and 12, both play ball, both collect cards.

To make this cool, another co-worker [who happens to be my bff] asked me to check out his “junk wax” as he’s looking to declutter his house. I told him of my idea w the tobacco cards and he jumped in and will be gifting his 80s and 90s collection to these two boys.

So…let me know if you guys have two starter cards - like $30 - !

I actually picked up a few lots in the Spring, perhaps I'll upgrade some of those cards?

Hey folks - I just wanted to update this and thank those of you who came through. Kids enjoyed the cards. They wound up with a Ripken rookie and got a kick out of Tony Armas and Manny Trillo in each other’s cards in 82 Topps.

You guys are the best.
