SOLD: 1980 Topps Complete Set w/ Rickey Henderson & Team Checklist Rarities

Up for sale is a complete set of 1980 Topps (726) + 50 additional HOF and star cards (see post 4). Cards are mostly in EX to EX/MT condition with the following notes:

*The Rickey Henderson rookie card is more like VG to VG/EX condition.
*The Garry Templeton card has been severely trimmed top and bottom.
*All checklist and team checklist cards have been fully marked to show how this set was hand collated for set completion.

More exciting is that 10 of the 26 team checklist cards were hand-cut from the fairly rare 1980 Topps Team/Checklist sheet. According to the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards (Bob Lemke), the 1980 Topps Team cards were available via a mail-in offer in sheet form. You'll see these occasionally listed on eBay at a decent premium to the standard card. They are pretty easy to identify given the bright blue backs and thinner card stock (see pictures and compare to the "normal" Red Sox team checklist card shown). That said, each of these checklist sheet cards has been marked as noted above. Also, they weren't cut very well (many jagged cuts) by the original owner.
