Shoebox Mostly 1980 Footbal

I once had a box of 1980 football cards come into my shop. Nothing serious, probably an Otis Anderson rookie was the sets thing...and in the back there was a 1933 Goudey Bud Clancy. Behind it, a Babe Ruth. I still own the card.

did you alert the seller there was a ruth in there, or just nab the box for a 1980 football price?

This box actually did come with 3 Ruth cards which I'll throw in for another $100.

I did.. .this was back in the 80s and as I recall I paid him $400, which was fair for the time.
