FS: c.1880s Painted Ring/Handle Professional ModelBat..EX
For sale is a circa 1880's ring style bat made by the manufacturers, J.W. & Co. This 'Professional League' model bat is 34", un-cracked, and features a dark painted handle, and black barrel ring with painted end (flat top).
There is no dead, raised, split, or swollen grain on the hitting surfaces, and the knob is virtually flawless. The bat does show some representative aging all of which is clearly reflected in the images. This bat would stand up as a very solid addition to even the most advanced collections of 19th C. equipment. Price: $1850.00 (includes USPS priority shipping with insurance/tracking).
